He then mentioned the fact that he had been taken into custody with $420.00 cash but was only allowed to access $20 of it. We are hoping the money clears and he is allowed access soon, but this is problematic because of the fact that Ramsey was supposed to be able to go to the commissary store today, but hasn't been allowed to. In the event that he does get to go, there is little to no money on his books and he hasn't eaten since before he went into custody yesterday. He's saying if he can't get to commissary that he will have to be on a hunger strike until that changes because he still doesn't trust eating the food that has been provided.
About the donations: Ramsey says to those who are planning on donating directly to his commissary to use Jpay. He says that everything else takes days to get to him. He also has not been allowed to wear any of the clothing he purchased in advance. The policy has changed and all inmates must wear uniforms. He also had his shoes taken because they were high-tops and that's not allowed as part of the approved uniform.
He promises to stay in touch and is hoping everyone will keep fighting, keep filming the police and taking care of one another.
Until the next update. All power to the people.
